  • Development initiatives require the total wellbeing of the people. It is a realized fact, that alcohol, tobacco and drug use are impediments in the total wellbeing of the people. Hence any community development initiative requires knowledge on how to address such issues.
  • Development of any community requires the minimum impact of alcohol, tobacco and other drug use.

At the end of the training programme participants will be able to;

  • Gain knowledge on alcohol and tobacco and drug prevention, 
  • Identify factors promoting drug use
  • Describe strategies to neutralize or minimize the impact of direct and indirect promotions
  • Explain how to integrate drug prevention in to other community development activities
  • implement effective activities targeted to change the milieu and community members including different level of users
