Knowledge on strategies for Drug Demand Reduction helps you to develop societies better through appropriate community interventions. This is mainly because the development process incorporates the total wellbeing the people in their respective communities. Failures to realize drug issues have resulted in failures of development projects.Hence skills in prevention strategies have helped community youth workers to:

  • Identify and devise strategies for drug related issues
  • Develope projects to address such issues (in schools, community and media...)
  • Lobby relevant organizations to take action
  • Carry out campaigns
  • Work on policies
